A Good Diet – Dr. C.C. Carroll

Dr. C. C. Carroll was a naturopathic physician in Veneta, Oregon. This is his advice.

Disclaimer: Consult your own Physician before trying this:

No fried foods, no fats  including butter.
No fountain products or drinks as ice cream, soda, etc. 

No cakes, pies or pastries of any kind. 

No more than one starch at a meal besides bread and go easy on them.  Remember, dried beans, peas, pumpkin, squash, turnips, lentils and all nuts are fattening. 

Let your foods be, lean meats beef, rabbit and chicken wit the skin removed for the fat of chicken is in the skin.
All the green leafy vegetables, cabbage, kale, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, turnip greens, spinach, sauerkraut and all such are excellent. All you want of them. 

Oranges, grapefruit, pineapple, and fruit jellos for  dessert. 

Best for bread is, rye crisp, rye tack, and whole wheat stone ground bread. 

All bran cereal with powdered non-fat milk, or fruit juice as orange juice, grapefruit juice, or pineapple juice.
