Jello Custard Pudding

Set one pkg. jello (red color is most effective) with 2 cups hot water until slightly thickened. Beat two eggs whites until stiff, add jello beating all the while. Place in fridge until firm.

Custard –

2 egg yolks

1/4 cup sugar

1 dessert spoon corn starch

1 cup milk

1/2 tsp. vanilla

Method-

Stir yolks, sugar, cornstarch together until well blended. Gradually add milk and cook in top of double boiler until slightly thick. Add Vanilla and cool. To serve, place a spoonful of jello mixture in dish and pour the custard around it. The two tone effect is very pretty.
