Ranger Cookies

1/2 butter or margarine

1/2 cup solid shortening

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar (packed)

2 eggs – beaten

1 tsp. vanilla

2 cups flour

1 tsp. soda

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

2 cups quick oatmeal

2 cups whole cornflakes or puffed rice

1 cup coconut

Roll into balls. place on ungreased sheet and press with fork. Bake at 375* for 12 -15 minutes.
