3 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 cups butter, softened
1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
4 tsp. McCormick pure vanilla extract
1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Mix-
Flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Beat butter and sugars in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Gradually beat in floured mixture until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop-
By rounded tablespoons abut 2 inches a apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake-
in preheated 375* oven 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 1 minute. Remove to wire racks; cool completely. Makes 5 dozen.
