Macaroon Bake

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup flour

3 egg yolks

1/4 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking powder

3 – 5 Tbsp. milk

Topping:

3 egg whites

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup coconut

Cream butter, add sugar (beat), add egg yolks (beat), sift dry ingredients and wadd to creamed mixture, alternating with milk.  Spread in greased pan 8×8 or 8×10. Top with meringue made by beating egg whites stiff with sugar. Fold in coconut. Bake in 350* oven for 20 minutes or until done.
