Coconut Crunchies

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp. vanilla

1 cup flour

1 egg

1/4 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup corn flakes

1/2 cup coconut

Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla. Add egg and mix until smooth. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together and add to mixture. Blend in rolled oats, corn flakes and coconut.

Drop by teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet, bake in slow oven (325*) for 15 minutes. Makes 4 dozen
