Raisin Nut Fudge

2 cups sugar

3/4 cup milk

1 Tbsp. dark syrup

1/2 cup chopped raisins

1/4 cup peanut butter

1 tsp. vanilla

Cook sugar, milk and syrup to soft ball stage (238*). Remove from heat. Add raisins, peanut butter and vanilla. Set aside until just warm, then beat until creamy. Pour into small well bettered pans. Cool. Cut into squares. Make 1 lb. sells for 75c a lb.
