3 quarts popped corn
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup molasses
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. butter
Mix sugar, molasses, vinegar, and water. Boil gently and without stirring until “hard click” ball forms in cold water. Add soda, butter and mix well.
While foaming, pour over popped corn, mix well and let stand for 5 minutes then press into balls.
