Mints

1 pkg. icing sugar (1 lb.)

1/3 cup white Karo syrup

1/3 cup crisco shortening

1/4 tsp. pure mint oil

Food color as desired

Mix all ingredients with heavy duty mixer. Mixture will be very thick. If color does not mix well knead with hands until mixed well. Oil rubber molds slightly and mold small amount in each mold and turn onto waxed paper.
