Mamie Eisenhower Fudge

4 1/2 cups sugar

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Dash of salt

1 tall can evaporated milk

1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chips

3 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet cooking chocolate

2 cups marshmallow cream

2 cups chopped walnuts or pecans

Combine sugar, butter, salt, and milk in large pan. Bring to a boil on med. heat. stirring constantly, boil 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine chocolate, marshmallow cream and nuts in mixing bowls. Pour syrup over chocolate and beat until melted. Turn into well greased 13×9″ pan, cool several hours or until firm.
