Never Fail White Marshmallow Frosting

1 egg white

1/4 tsp. Cream of tartar

pinch of salt

1 cup white sugar

1/2 tsp. vanilla

 

Put egg white into small bowl, add remaining ingredients.

Mix all at once until blended and add 1/2 cup boiling water, quickly beating at high speed. Continue beating until desired consistency.
