3 qts. water

1 lemon for each qt. water (3)

Cream of tartar – 1 to 2 tsp. per qt water

2 tsp. sugar per quart of water

 

Take 3 qts. per day for 3 days of lemon mix. Then 3 gallons of cold plain water per day.

 

I am not too sure about this recipe. There was no “author” listed and it was written in my grandmothers  handwriting. So I will do some research on this. 🙂
