Sauce:
Mix-
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 cup brown sugar
to 1/2 cup vinegar add 1 Tbsp. molasses, a dash of soy sauce, dash of Worcestershire sauce and 1 1/2 cup water.
add two mixtures together, cook and stir until thick. Braise the pork chops until brown on both sides in any type of shortening, salt and pepper to taste. Place in a small roaster or casserole. Add a layer of onion rings between each layer of chops.
Pour sauce over all and cover. Simmer in oven until chops are very tender at least 1 hour or 1 1/2 hours.
Note: Pork spare ribs can be used or beef short ribs in place of chops.
