1 small pork loin roast
1 can tomato soup
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
3 Tbsp. vinegar
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar syrup
Dash of salt and pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Cut the pork roast into small chunks and use approximately 2 lbs of meat to feed 4 people. Roll the meat in flour, pepper, and salt. Brown in oil. Place the meat in a deep casserole dish.
To make sauce, in sauce pan add the remaining ingredients and heat to a boiling point. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour over the meat and place in the oven at 400* until the sauce begins to bubble. Reduce temperature to 325* and bake 1 hour. Seve over hot rice.
If you like your sauce thinner, add more water. Add more lemon juice and sugar if you like a real “tangy” sauce. I use a syrup like “Log Cabin” or even molasses will do.
