Swiss Steak

1 1/2 lbs. round steak cut in 6 pieces

2 Tbsp. flour

salt and pepper

3 onions, peeled and thinly sliced

5 tomatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

1 Beef Bouillon cube

1/2 cup boiling water

1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

Season flour with salt and pepper, then coat steaks. Place steak and vegetables in casserole. Dissolve bouillon in boiling water and pour over meat and vegetables. Cover and cook for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 6

**Chuck steak as an alternative is less expensive; also tastes good. If electric frying pan is used, coking time can be reduced to 40 minutes.
