Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs

Flour and fry 1 1/2 lbs. spare ribs until brown. Boil together the following:

1 cup water

1/4 cup vinegar

1 Tbsp. soy sauce

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 bottle of Catsup –I am thinking this may be about a 1/4 of a cup since we have bigger bottles these days. 

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

and enough flour to thicken

 

Pour mixture over ribs and bake 1 hour at 35o*
