Pizza

Baking powder Biscuit crust:

3/4 cup flour

1/4 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking powder

2 Tbsp. lard

1/4 cup milk
Topping:

1 Tbsp. cooking oil

1/2 can tomato paste

1 slice mozzarella cheese cut into strips or 1/4 cup shredded cheddar

2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese – grated

1 kind of pre-cooked meat – pepperoni, sausage, fried sausage, fried hamburger, canadian bacon, etc.

1 vegetable – olives, mushrooms, fried onion rings, etc.

 

Preheat oven to 400*

Sift flour and remeasure, add salt and baking powder. resift.

Cut in fat with blender until it resembles cornmeal. Add milk and miz with fork to a soft dough. Knead about 6 times on floured surface. Roll into a round (about 10″ in diameter – 1/8-1/4″ thick.)

Form a rim around the edge, place on a greased baking pan brushed with oil. Spread with tomato paste. Place Mozzarella or cheddar cheese on top. Place meat and vegetables attractively on top. Sprinkle with parmesan . Bake 20 minutes
