Brown 1 lb. hamburger (crumbled). Add three slices fried bacon – chopped (optional). Add and cook until tender: 1/2 cup chopped onion. Drain excess fat. Stir in 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. paprika, dash of pepper, 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup. Cook slowly uncoverd for 20 minutes stirring frequently.
Stir in but do not boil, 1 cup sour cream. Serve hot over buttered noodles, rice, lasagna noodles, or spaghetti. I often substitute another can of mushroom soup for the sour cream.
