1 pkg. Lipton “tomato vegetable soup mix” – 2 envelopes (non other)
1 lb. brown beans – cover with cold water, bring to a boil ; drain, then cover with cold water again. Bring to a boil; drain third time and cover with cold water; cook until done.
1 lb. minced beef – fry in 1 Tbsp. margarine. Chop 3 onions and put with beef.
When beans “cooked”, put with beef and onions. Put in contents of the envelopes. Mix well. add salt to taste and 1 tsp. or more of chili powder (to taste).
Bring to a boil; stir, if more water needed, add. This is not stiff.
Pour over toast. If any left, put in container and in deep freeze until the next call.
