Time: 1 hr. – 3o minutes

Layer in 2 qt. casserole with tight lid –
1. 1 cup uncooked rice
2. 1 cup whole kernel corn – drained
3. sprinkle with salt and pepper, pour over this 8 oz. tomato sauce and 1/2 can water.
4. 1/2 cup each of finely chopped onion and green pepper.
5. 3/4 lb. uncooked ground beef
6. sprinkle salt and pepper. Pour over second can tomato sauce and 1/4 can water
7. cover meat with bacon halves
8. cover and bake 1 hour
9. uncover and bake 30 minutes longer til bacon is crisp.
