4 cups apricots peeled and cut
4 cups sugar
1lb. candy orange slices
-mix the apricots and sugar well. Add the cut up orange slices. (Dipping the knife or shears in hot water will make the chopping/cutting easier)
Let the mixture stand all day. Each time you go by the bowl, give it another good stirring. That evening, place on heat and bring to a boil. Cook 10 minutes. After mixture bubbles, stir constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat.
