3 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup mashed potatoes
1 1/2 cups milk
3 3/4 Tbsp. melted fat
6 cups flour
2 3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. Cream of Tartar
Beat eggs well, add sugar, potatoes, milk and shortening. Sift dry ingredients and add mixture. Mix well. Cook in hot oil (370*) until golden brown.
