Raisin Scones

2 cups flour

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

4 tsp. baking powder

1 egg

4 Tbsp. shortening

1 cup milk

1/2 cup raisins

Put dry ingredients in bowl. Work in butter. Add raisins. Make a well in the center and add milk and egg combined. Mix quickly and put into greased pie pan and bake about 20 minutes in 400* oven. Cut in wedges and split. Serve buttered.
