Cranberry Loaf

3 cups white flour

2 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt

1 cup grated carrot – raw

1 cup cranberry sauce

2 cups brown sugar

3 cups salad oil or margarine

4 eggs – well beaten

1/2 cup chopped lemon peel or chopped walnuts

 

Sift dry ingredients – mix in other ingredients. Carrots and cranberry’s should be mixed in last. Makes 1 large and 1 small loaf.

Bake in oven for 1 hour and 350*
