I have We have been looking at our lives from a different perspective. If you have been keeping up with my previous posts or following me on Facebook, you’ve noticed that our living arrangements have changed quite a bit. No longer are we living in a house, but rather an RV. Through that, we have had to declutter our space and now, our lives. In this journey, I have also run across a wonderful little book by Marie Kondo. In this simple book, I found the motivation and encouragement to let go of things that no longer sparked joy. Spending unnecessary money fell into this category for me. Thus, I have decided to eliminate costs that were not necessary to our lives and my paid web address was eliminated. Sure, it’s aggravating to type a longer address for this blog and for that I am sorry; however, it is so nice to have the extra money in the bank to take care of things that before, we’d have to save for or borrow for. THAT is what sparks joy for me.

All that to say, I am revamping this site into a place where I can share what is on my heart. Whether it is a family recipe, a newly discovered recipe, a craft, a project, a book review or just a ramble or two.

This blog began as a “recipe book” of sorts that featured recipes from my family members, specifically my grandmother’s recipe boxes. It grew as more and more recipes were found and now, I have inherited even more recipes from other members. SO I decided to open it and share it with all of my family and friends. I hope you have as much fun trying the recipes as I did inheriting them and posting them here for you.
