Fall is my favorite time of the year and magazines are my favorite thing to read in between housework and school assignments. In this week’s edition of All*You magazine (my favorite for coupons and money saving ideas), I found this recipe inside the front cover with an awesome coupon for a dollar off the new Borden Extra Sharp Cheddar slices! (coupon is in the November 18 All*You magazine and expires 12/31/2011).

 

Here is the recipe:

Cheddar-Apple Pie Panini

Betty Spradlin, Lucasville, Ohio

1 slice Borden Applewood Bacon Cheddar Single Sensations

1 slice Granny Smith apple

Dash of Apple Pie seasoning

2 slices of bread ( your choice)

Buttah! (butter)

 

Lightly butter Panini grill (I use my George Foreman grill. It’s not the same thing, but it gives me those nice little grill lines).

Sice bread in thick slices; place a slice of Borden Applewood Bacon Cheddar Singles Sensations on one clice of bread, and TOP with a slice of Granny Smith apple.

Top the apple slice with a dash of apple pie seasoning or cinnamon.

Finally place the top slice of bread onto the sandwich and grill until nicely browned.
